Our Community Supported Living Service provides specialist support that enables clients to maintain independence, develop relationships, and learn new skills within the community.
For those individuals who may experience difficulties around anxiety and/or frustration, we have our own in-house Behaviour Specialist and Senior Autism Trainer who is able to provide advice, support, and guidance to both you and the staff that support you, ensuring the best outcomes for clients are maintained.
We successfully support individuals to live in their own home and work with housing providers to seek suitable accommodation for them once they are ready to move on. We work closely with you, your family, the Local Authority, a social worker, and health professionals involved in your care.
We also work in partnership with assisted technology providers to enable greater levels of independence. We will identify areas of risk or concern where assistive technology may result in effective support. This may include the use of flashing fire alarms, flood detectors, magi plugs, and emergency buttons.
The service can support clients in many areas of life, such as:
Independent living skills
Community activities
Access to health care and appointments
Access to education, employment, and training
Developing and maintaining relationships
Housing-related support
